Biodiversity

The country still lacks a comprehensive Biodiversity Management legislation but it does have a number of legislations which are addressing biodiversity issues such as the Flora Protection Act 2002, Biosafety Act 2011, SNTC Act, Game Act 1991 etc. The responsibility for managing biodiversity cuts across a number of government ministries including the ministries of Agriculture and the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs.
