Capacity Building

Capacity building is an important element in Swaziland’s efforts towards effective implementation of the Cartagena Protocol and attainment of sustainable development outcomes. SEA as the Competent Authority this leverages on all available opportunities to enhance capacities in biotechnology and biosafety across all stakeholder levels. Examples of training activities and reports include the following:

  • Capacity Building for the Implementation of the National Biosafety Framework of Swaziland: Project Inception Workshop
  • Ministerial Consultative Workshop for Agricultural Extension Officers on Biosafety
  • Biosafety Workshops for Extension Officers in the Four Regions
